As one of the leading healthcare providers in the region, Region Kalmar County is seeking a dedicated and passionate general practitioner to join one of our health care centres in the city of Kalmar, Norrliden Health centre.  

As a specialist in family medicine, you will manage your own patient list, with approximately 1000 patients per full-time position. You will have direct communication with your patients via telephone and will schedule appointments directly into your calendar, granting you significant flexibility to make individual assessments of patient care needs.

Your future workplace

Norrliden Health Center is serving approximately 6000 registered patients, located in the northern part of Kalmar city. We have a team of 4 specialists, 2 residents, and a few medical interns. We foster close collaboration among all healthcare professionals, including nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and psychologists. Supervising educational physicians is an integral part of our approach. We actively strive to ensure our staff maintains a healthy work-life balance.

Before moving to Sweden, you need to reach B2 level in the Swedish language. Region Kalmar County provides further language studies in Swedish to reach the C1 level.
