Cardiac Nurse Positions Available on the Beautiful Southeast Coast of Sweden

We are looking for both general and specialized nurses to join the Department of Internal Medicine, Cardiac Care Unit at Oskarshamn Hospital.

As a nurse in our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring medical prescriptions are followed and that patients receive the care they need. You will also have frequent interactions with patients' relatives. What We Are Looking For

We seek a licensed registered nurse (within the EU/EES) with strong motivation and the ability to see the bigger picture. You are a team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn, and committed to growing in your profession. Our guiding principle is that the best interests of the patient always come first.

Terms of Employment

Before relocating to Sweden, we recommend attaining at least a B2 level in Swedish. Your nursing license must be recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.

We provide additional Swedish language training to help you reach a C1 level. Following a successful trial period, demonstrating the required skills recognized by Region Kalmar County, the position will transition to a permanent contract. All contracts adhere to local and national collective agreements, and salary is determined individually based on your qualifications and experience.

Region Kalmar county offers continuous support for relocation, establishment, and language education. If you are an EU/EES citizen, you may also qualify for support under the EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme.

Support After Relocation

  • Intensive Swedish language course to achieve C1 level.
  • Guidance on practical matters such as obtaining a social security number, opening a bank account, etc.
  • Information about housing, schools, kindergartens, and more.
