Job description

The Radiology department is looking for radiographers with or without experience in conventional radiology, CT and MRI, intervention radiology, mammography, etc. Our departments are in constant progress. The radiology departments are very well-equipped. Our team consists of a good mixture of both experienced and new colleagues with fresh knowledge from universities. Together we create a workplace with great commitment and participation, where everyone has the opportunity to be involved and influence decisions.

The position as a radiographer includes working shifts (evenings, nights and weekends).

Your employment will start with an introduction period. We provide further language studies in Swedish to reach the C1 level. If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Kalmar, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.  

All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience.

What we are looking for

A licensed radiographer with a great drive and the ability to see the bigger picture. You are a great team player with a positive attitude. You are curious to learn and want to grow in your profession as a radiographer. Our motto is that the best interest of the patient always comes first.

We require

  • Registrered nurse within the EU/EEA
  • If applicable, specialty registerered nurse compliant with the EU directive EU/EEA nationality
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft office
  • English and Swedish language skills

The Hospital has all kinds of specialities and it’s a teaching hospital for both medicine and nurse students. With only the Ölands Bridge away you’ll find the popular island Öland with many beaches and idyllic places to visit.
